Our beliefs

Agape Love Ministries embraces the following statements of truth as a reflection of the unconditional love of God revealed throughout Scripture.

While the Bible remains our all-sufficient foundation for faith, love, and daily living, these statements represent the core teachings and values that guide our ministry.

The Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith and life. It is trustworthy, living, and guides all truth and conduct (2 Timothy 3:15–17; Hebrews 4:12).

The One True God
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator, Savior, and Sustainer of all things (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19).

Humanity and the Fall
We believe humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin through disobedience. Because of this, every person needs salvation through Jesus Christ (Genesis 1:26–31; Romans 5:12–21).

Salvation
We believe salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Through salvation, believers are forgiven, made new, and given eternal life.
Evidence of salvation is seen inwardly through the Holy Spirit and outwardly through a transformed life (Romans 10:9–10; Titus 3:5–7; Romans 8:16).

Sanctification
We believe believers are called to grow in holiness through the power of the Holy Spirit. This is a lifelong process of becoming more like Christ through obedience to God’s Word (1 Peter 1:15–16).

Ordinances of the Church
We observe:
‍Water Baptism – A public declaration of faith and new life in Christ (Romans 6:4)
‍The Lord’s Supper (Communion) – A remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and a declaration of His return (Luke 22:19–20)
‍Foot Washing – An act of humility and service following the example of Jesus (John 13:14–15)

The Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, which empowers believers for witness, service, and spiritual gifts. This experience is distinct from salvation and strengthens the believer’s walk with God (Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:1–11).

The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, grow in faith, and fulfill the Great Commission by sharing the Gospel throughout the world (Ephesians 4:11–13).

Ministry
We believe God calls and equips ministers to:
1. Preach the Gospel to the world
2. Build up and strengthen believers in their faith (Mark 16:15)

Divine Healing
We believe healing is provided through the atonement of Jesus Christ and is available to all believers through faith (Isaiah 53:5; Mark 16:18).

The Blessed Hope
We believe in the return of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of believers. Those in Christ will be gathered to Him and share in eternal life (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17).

Future Things
We believe in the future reign of Christ on earth, final judgment, and the promise of new heavens and a new earth where righteousness dwells (Revelation 21:1–4).
